Youth Group :: 6th-12th Grade

We hope the time we spend with students on Sunday morning or Wednesday night can be some of the best hours of their week. Our goal is to work with the parents in growing their students in Christ and help the students develop a personal relationship with Him. As He transforms their hearts and lives, we are convinced they will transform their homes, their classrooms, and their world. Our strategy for accomplishing this is Think Orange.

Middle School :: 6th-8th Grade

Rush Hour is our weekly service strategically designed for 6th-8th grade students. Doors open 15 minutes before things officially kick off to give students some time to play games and hang out. We play a large-group game or two to get things started. We then begin a time of worship led by our youth band followed by a short teaching . We finish our time together hanging out until parents arrive. Rush Hour meets at 11am on Sundays during the school year.

High School :: 9th-12th Grade

Inside Out is our weekly event where high schoolers can connect with God and each other. Inside Out meets on Wednesday nights at 7pm. Time is spent hanging out with friends and meeting new ones in an environment designed to help teenagers experience God, grow in their faith, and discover the destiny God has for their lives as fully devoted followers of Christ.

On any given night we begin with a time of hanging out and games. Walking in you’ll see students playing video games, ping-pong, cards, air hockey, and foosball – to name a few. Over the sound system plays familiar music.

From this hang out time we transition into an organized group game (or two) followed by a life-impacting message and a time of worship.

Afterwards, students are encouraged to stick around a while and talk or pray with our adult leaders, if they wish, or simply grab a snack and hang out with their friends.

How We Reach Up, Reach In, and Reach Out

Our student ministry is best described with Reach Up, Reach In, and Reach Out.

Reach Up – Worship God

Students Reach Up to God at Inside Out and Rush Hour through their worship to Him. Worship is so much more than just the songs we sing ( btw.. the youth band can play some rockin’ songs) , it’s about our devotion to the awesome God we serve. In our Inside Out and Rush Hour environments students Reach Up in their worship through prayer, getting into the Bible, and singing songs to God.

Reach In – Grow Together

Students reach in to one another through 707’s. A 707 is a small group of teenagers, between 6th grade and 12th grade, that meet together with adult leaders who facilitate these groups. The thing that is unique about these groups is that often these groups are formed by the students themselves, & are made up of either all girls or all guys who are in the same grade & attend the same school.  Ideally, the groups meet weekly until they graduate from High School.  The dynamics of these groups are all very different & change over the years but the constant in them all is Jesus & teenagers.

Reach Out – Make A Difference

Reaching Out is all about serving others the way Christ commanded his followers to do. Students are encouraged to serve in three ways: in their Church, in their Community, and in their World.

Church – Student Impact
How far are you willing to go to make a difference in someone else’s life for the sake of eternity? If you can push buttons, play with children, sing, dance, organize, play an instrument as unto Jesus then you can make a difference.

Community – Unleashed
Students being Unleashed throughout our community to show Christ’s love in tangible ways. About once a month we have a community service project or two.  If you want to lend a helping hand just let us know and we will keep you posted.

World – Compassion International
Compassion International is one of our strategic partners. Currently, we support 4 children a month through our youth tithes and offerings. Through every student giving up a soft drink or cup of coffee once a month they get to see how their sacrifice can make a difference in India, Brazil, and Hatai.
