Community Development in Gonaives Haiti. Presently MUCH has focused the heart of their mission in the small village of Jubilee on the outskirts of Gonaives, Haiti. Their idea of Community Development is a true partnership with the residents of Jubilee. It is friendship at it’s core. The partnership involves an elementary school, building reliable housing, medical clinic, classes for learning trade skills (Trade School Haiti), economic development and weekly gatherings of community leaders to discuss dreams, ideas, and the overall welfare of the community. Much is inspired by the short term mission teams that come to first learn about and also support the ongoing mission of Jubilee.
