Baptism Opportunity

If you would like to be baptized and have not signed up, there are still spaces available on October 5th. You can sign up at the Guest Services counter in the Atrium or call Laura at 912-634-7040.

No Inside Out

No Inside Out for grades 9-12 (Wednesday evenings) until August 13.

Manna House

Second Wednesday every month a team of volunteers from SSCC serves meals for the folks at Manna House. Volunteers are needed from 9:00-11:30 or 11:30-1:30. Contact Doug Grabowski 634-5890 or Mary Ducker 223-6989 for more information. The next opportunity to serve is August 13.

Getting connected with a new church family can be kind of scary! At SSCC, we dream of becoming a church where everyone is connected so they may experience the love, support, growth and encouragement that God intended. Cosmic City VBS

Cosmic City VBS for kids 3 years old –Kindergarten on Sunday mornings at both the 9am and 11am services has begun. We will be partnering with WAYRadio in the Project Backpack mission project. You may participate by taking your child to buy a backpack, fill it with school supplies, and bring it to church by August 3rd. This will bless many local children and is a great way to teach your kids about giving.

Good Grief

A grief support group meets each week on Thursdays from 12:00-1:00pm upstairs in Room 203 for the study, GriefShare. We welcome anyone who has suffered a loss and is having trouble coping with grief. For more information, contact Betty Smith at 912-635-3329.

Ladies Evening Bible Study

Meets on Wednesday evenings at 6:15 pm in the Attic (upstairs, Room 201) for Pricilla Shirer’s study “He Speaks to Me”.

Finding Jesus in Finding Nemo

Summer Kid Jam for 1st–5th graders Sundays at 11:00am. Parents will drop their children off and pick them up in the Clubhouse.

Pre-Gathering Place for Middle Schoolers

Middle schoolers, meet us at Epworth-by-the-Sea every Sunday night before the Gathering Place for PreGP at 6pm. We’ll be meeting in the big field by the basketball courts and the pool. We will then attend the Gathering Place Main Event together. Parents will pick their kids up at the Gathering Place (Strickland Auditorium) at 10pm. Rain cancels. Bring dinner to eat together.
