Courageous Living
Our next Men’s study will begin February 8 at SSCC at 6:30pm with a private showing of the movie “Courageous,” a movie that has proven to be a powerful tool in calling men to make a difference in their families. On the following 4 Wednesday evenings, February 15-March 7, we will meet for a small group study called “Courageous Living” to help us as men walk out in our personal lives what we have learned. Can’t make Wednesday evenings? There is a Tuesday morning group meeting 7-8am, following the same format, beginning February 14. Sign ups begin January 29.
Middle School Winter Retreat
Middle School students (6th thru 8th grade) will have a Winter Retreat at Epworth February 24th-26th. Cost for this trip is $105. Camp fee is due with registration no later than February 19th. Contact shannon@sscommunitychurch.com for more information.
Annual Business Meeting
We will hold a brief church business meeting between services on February 19. At this time you will be presented with the 2012 budget and a 2011 ministry report. If you are attending this meeting, please ride the shuttle.
Spring Women’s Conference
Ladies – The next Golden Isles Women’s Connection Conference will be February 24 and 25, with Jennifer Rothschild. Cost is $34 until January 30. Tickets are available today in the Atrium*.
