Kid Jam is SSCC’s version of Sunday School using a large group and small group format to bring God’s Word to 1st-5th graders in a memorable and creative way. During this hour children will spend time in age appropriate small groups where they will build relationships as they spend time in the Bible, memorizing Scripture and finding out how God’s Word is relevant to their lives today. In addition, children will be brought into a large group setting where they can be comfortable as kids with upbeat music and funny character actors that help reinforce the lessons that were learned in their small groups and as a special Bible Story.
First time and occasional visitors must go to the Children’s Check-In Area before going to their class.

Must Knows
Time is short, so focus is essential. Must Know’s are some of the “Can’t Live Without Truths” that we will focus on during our brief time together. It is not all that they will learn, but it is the most important.
- I can trust God no matter what.
- I need to make the wise choice.
- I should treat others the way that I want to be treated.
We will use over 150 different Bible stories, Bible verses and biblical values to communicate these truths. The values that we will use are those that influence behavior and determine what is viewed as important in life, such as love, obedience, respect, compassion, etc.
