Reach Up, Reach In, Reach Out

The Three Reaches

At SSCC we believe that a fully devoted follower of Jesus Christ, a true Christian, is actively doing three things. Reaching up, reaching in, and reaching out. It is our desire as a part of the greater Body of Christ to help all of the people that walk through the doors of our church do each of those things.

Reaching Up

Happens in an environment in which we worship and encounter God, both publicly and privately.

Reaching In

Happens in an environment where people are connected to the Body of Christ at a personal level both through service and relationships.

Reaching Out

Happens in an environment where we are able to share Christ with unbelievers. At SSCC we commonly refer to this as “Invest & Invite.” We encourage you to invest your time in the people that God has given you relationships with and invite them to opportunities to be presented with God’s love.
